Donna Dillman, Lanark Ontario

"I had a fantastic time on the Bahamas Celebration Cruise with Caribbean Cruise Line. My cabin was taken care of with great care by Hall and I very much appreciated his, and the rest of the crew's, efficiency, friendliness and helpfulness. The 50/60s dance on the Saturday was great fun and, Vince, the piano man was awesome. Snorkeling off of Treasure Reef is a must do, as was the shopping in the market at Freeport. Thanks for the memories."

Michelle Bess, Murfreesburo, TN

"We have been on 2 Carnival Cruises in the past. Let me tell you, this ship beat Carnival in EVERY aspect. Our cabin steward was great. He did a fabulous job and was there every time we needed anything. The ship rooms were very spacious. The tv's have more channels. The entertainment has a nice variety. And dont even get me started on the food! It was AMAZING!!! The food was so much better than any other ship we have been on. We loved the different choices for meals and I had the best dessert of my life in the Crystal Dining Room. Feel free to use my testimonial for any references or advertising you want. We could not have been more thrilled with our experience. Thank you for a wonderful time!"

Rachel Laney, Potsdam, NY

"The cruise it self was relaxing and a great getaway for my daughter and I. Our cabin steward was very friendly and helpful. I loved that when we came into our room at night our beds were turned down and ready. My daughter enjoyed the puppy made from towels on the last night of our trip. My daughter has a stuffed puppy she sleeps with she has had it since she was a few weeks old and she is now 8. She got a kick out of going into our room the night of the 5/5 and seen her puppy propped up beside one Nuryasa had made from towels that really made her night. "

Tamara Fitz Gerald, Parrish, FL

"We all had an excellent cruise. The day that we spent in the Bahamas was wonderful and so were the accommodations. On the ship, the service everywhere we went was superior! Thanks so much for providing us with such a wonderful experience. I want to vote for our cabin steward Ranito. Our cabin (7327) was always in tip top shape and we had everything we needed when we needed it! Thanks again."

We recently returned from a cruise with Caribbean Cruise Line which included a couple nights in the resort “Our Lucaya”.

I was very happy with the value I received and the ship.

The staff of the ship in particular I would single out for absolutely terrific service. Most Americans would be surprised to learn that the crew of cruise ships (almost all from third world countries) are usually college graduates. They were almost all pleasant and highly helpful.

Boarding the ship was a breeze. The parking is valet and we were aboard in minutes. You choose your dinner reservations while boarding.

We chose the Crystal Room for dinner the first evening, which is the higher end free meal included with the cruise. The meal was good. There were free seconds as well as several other restaurants including a buffet that didn't require reservation.

After dinner we roamed the ship. The casino was small but not crowded at all. The blackjack was standard play and I did well there on a $10 table.

The way there was dead calm and the ship docked at midnight making this about a 7 hour cruise.

Disembarking was incredibly smooth. We took the $8.50 each way shuttle deal the cruise was peddling. We checked into Our Lucaya just as fast and had our room by 10:00.

Our Lucaya, by the way, is a beautiful beach resort.  Everybody I greeted and smiled at did return the favor.

The hotel had a decent buffet breakfast. We also ate one evening at the adjacent “China Beach”. Very nice.

Most of the time we ate across the street in the market (several restaurants) which was adequate and not bad at all.

Return boarding was also very fast and efficient.

That evening we ate at “The Cove” which is the extra $25 per person restaurant. The fare was fabulous and the wait staff superb. No disappointment there at all.

All in all it was a great cruise. Good food, great staff, exception value Caribbean Cruise Line. I'd do it again.

Caribbean Cruise Line Expands Services at Port of Palm Beach with Flagship Bahamas Celebration, Renews Commitment to Children Battling Cancer
Cruise line fulfills longtime wish of young cancer survivor to sail on a cruise ship
TAMPA, Fla., November 11, 2010 - Caribbean Cruise Line (http://www.caribbeancl.com/) plans to begin service to the Bahamas out of the Port of Palm Beach starting March 15. With its new flagship, the Bahamas Celebration, Caribbean Cruise Line will be the first multi-day cruise line to operate out of the port since 1966, according to port officials.
Caribbean Cruise Line plans to set sail every other day for Grand Bahamas Island and offer two-, four- and six-night cruise packages in partnership with the Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort, said Robert Mitchell, the President of the cruise line. In a recent news release announcing the cruise service, Port of Palm Beach Executive Director Manny Almira referred to the Bahamas Celebration as the port's "crown jewel."

"Caribbean Cruise Line is going to send one child each month on their ship. They are certain they can make a difference in the lives of sick kids and their families."
A photo album of the Gonzalez family's experience may be viewed at http://s573.photobucket.com/albums/ss177/suebear6/BahamasCelebrationCruise/?albumview=slideshow.

GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND, BAHAMAS
Grand Bahama Island was chosen as one of the best Caribbean Destinations in the 2008 Travelers' Choice® Destinations Awards! This fantasy island earned its distinction as one of the world's top vacation spots to visit because of its impressive combination of entertaining man-made attractions, historical and cultural elements, and awe-inspiring ecological wonders - including a fifty-two mile stretch of pristine white-sand beach.
As home to many spectacular resort areas, there is always something for everyone; and certainly shopping tops many of our travelers' wish-list of favorite things to do. The best duty-free shopping is arguably concentrated at the International Bazaar and the Port Lucaya Marketplace. But be sure to check out the quaint boutiques and gift shops found in the downtown area and major resorts as well. Everything from dutyfree items like jewelry, perfume, and liquor - to local arts & crafts, wood sculptures, straw & shell products, and unique clothing creations are readily available.
Water activities are plentiful. The Island's reputation as a diver's paradise comes from the elaborate coral gardens and unique azure portals in the reefs that you can descend. Not certified? Then snorkel the shallow reefs and view the brightly colored fish, or take a ferry out to the lagoon and swim with the dolphins. This area is also considered one of the world's premier sport fishing destinations. Strap yourself in and get ready to hook onto a marlin, sailfish, blue and yellowfin tuna, bonefish, or barracuda-to name a few.
If exploring is for you, then this is your island. Most people who come to Grand Bahama never realize that the natural attractions are its finest assets. You can check out a secluded beach. Or visit the wondrous Lucayan National Park - home to Ben's Cave, which is the second longest underwater surveyed cave system in the world. And across the street is Gold Rock Creek, home to all five ecosystems of Grand Bahama. Or maybe take a relaxing tour through the twelve acres of indigenous flora and fauna at The Garden of The Groves. Whatever your choice is - It's going to be a fun one!

Caribbean Cruise Line Scam Watch Presents Taxi Cab Scams to Watch out for

Tourist Scams to Watch For:  Cab Scam
At Caribbean Cruise Line, we are glad to offer you this article to assist you with your travel plans this year and we hope you have a great vacation.   There are a lot of great tourist destinations out there, many of which are great and many have a lot of potential scams to look out for so we hope that you avoid any travel scams that are out there and at Caribbean Cruise Line we are doing our part to educate tourists about potential scams.   One of the most common scams to be aware of is cab drivers taking advantage of tourists and Caribbean Cruise Line wants to take a couple of minutes to discuss this with you.
Taxi drivers love to swindle money out of unsuspecting tourists as they are strangers in a strange land and very unfamiliar with things.

As with other scams in foreign countries, being knowledgeable about the local currency is a must.  Also, try not to ever hand a cab driver a large bill as they will often drop it and then switch it with a smaller bill or a counterfeit one they have stashed under their seat.  Some will charge you inflated rates setting the meter for evening or weekend rates in some instances and setting it for multiple persons in others.  A lot of times they will quote you one rate when you get into the cab, only to double it once you arrive at your destination.
Some cabbies work with local hotels, offering you a "package deal" right at the airport. However, once you arrive at the hotel, you find the discounted rooms are mysteriously all filled up. The hotel then charges you an exorbitant amount to stay, and the cab driver receives a commission on the side.
It also pays to have a working knowledge of where you're headed. If you know the route to your hotel should only be 15 minutes, make sure the cabbie knows you know this. Don't let yourself be talked into alternate routes or "shortcuts" that could end up lasting 45 minutes or more.
How do you avoid falling victim? Make your travel and lodging plans in advance. If you need a taxi, use a hotel or restaurant to call for one. If hailing a cab on the street, choose only those with prominent logos and telephone numbers. Never accept a ride from an unmarked car -- you could end up losing more than just your wallet.
Caribbean Cruise Line is happy to provide this information and if you have any questions feel free to visit our website by going to http://caribbeanclblog.com .

Caribbean Cruise Line Scam Watch is pleased to present to you 5 easy to use casino tricks that are sure to increase your odds of winning! Casinos are in the business of taking your money, and the purpose of these  Caribbean Cruise Line Reviews is to show you how you can turn the odds in your favor when on a gambling vacation.

1. Be skilled at the game you are playing

It has been proven time and again that the player with the most knowledge has the best luck with winning while on a gambling vacation.  Research the games you will be playing at your casino destination ahead of time, never jump into a game unless you have observed it being played and have learned how to play it, remember to ask the dealer to explain anything you do not understand.

2. Do not be reckless with your money

Before you leave your luxury accommodation and head out to the casino decide how much money you are going to budget for the evening and stick to it.

3. Maintain a low profile

As there is a lot of money floating around at casinos and other gambling vacation destinations, there can be a certain unsavory element around.  When winning be sure to keep a low profile and avoid telling anyone how you are doing, do not wave around a big wad of cash, and if you do have substantial winnings lock them up with the casino cashier until you are ready to depart.

4. Never drink while gambling

Alcohol impairs your judgment making you more prone to becoming reckless while enjoying your casino vacation. As tempting as they may seem, the free drinks offered by casinos and other gambling destinations are the casinos’ chief weapon against you.

5. Over confidence is your enemy

Over confidence kills.  If you are winning bit, do not become reckless, throwing caution to the wind and beginning to take high risks.  Remember to gamble with your head and do not become a slave to your emotions and the excitement of the moment.
